Since its creation in 2011 and throughout the following years, the Firm has developed strong technical expertise in notarial law—whether in matters of liquidation or taxation—combined with solid litigation experience in civil matters, particularly for resolving blocked co-ownership and indivision situations.

The Firm assists both French and international clients by providing legal advice and developing tailored strategies suited to each case involving issues of civil law:

  • Inheritance law (amicable or judicial partition, disputes related to co-ownership/indivision);
  • Personal law (parentage, adoption, protection of vulnerable adults);
  • Family law (liquidation of matrimonial property regimes);
  • Real estate law (property sales, real estate taxation, residential and commercial leases);
  • Civil liability law, particularly notarial liability;
  • Art market law.

The Firm also intervenes in criminal law for any inheritance-related matter involving criminal offenses (undue influence, breach of trust, fraud, theft, concealment, etc.).

Expertise

The Firm assists its clients with civil and criminal law matters that require mastery of significant human and financial stakes linked to inheritance issues and situations of indivision.

Family, Personal, and Patrimonial Law

The Firm provides assistance at all stages of the lives of individuals and families, in France and internationally. It offers personalized advisory services as well as representation throughout all phases of litigation.

Inheritance law is the Firm’s core activity.

The Firm intervenes both upstream and downstream, to anticipate or resolve difficulties arising from the liquidation and distribution of assets in the settlement of an estate. It has full command of the tax implications related to the various operations involved in estate administration.

The Firm offers tailored support in both advisory and litigation matters.

These two components are intrinsically linked, enabling the development of a comprehensive strategy to achieve either an amicable or judicial resolution of complex inheritance situations that may be completely blocked.

The Firm also provides assistance in estate planning—both civil and tax-related—within national or international contexts.

It has furthermore developed specific expertise in the planning and settlement of international estates.

The Firm assists individuals in establishing and/or contesting parentage, whether biological or adoptive.

These issues may involve major patrimonial—and particularly inheritance-related—stakes, placing them at the heart of the Firm’s main area of practice.

In addition, the Firm supports vulnerable adults and their families in initiating or managing protective measures, as well as handling disputes arising during such measures.

It has developed recognized expertise in safeguarding and managing the assets of vulnerable individuals.

The Firm has also developed specific expertise in matters relating to the separation of couples, whether married or unmarried, which may sometimes involve private international law issues and liquidation-related matters (calculation of compensatory claims, debts or reimbursements between spouses).

It assists clients with issues arising during the liquidation of matrimonial property regimes.

The Firm does not intervene in extra-patrimonial family disputes or in contentious divorce proceedings.

The Firm’s expertise covers all areas of real estate law, particularly real estate sales.

The Firm has developed an activity as a real estate transaction agent and assists its clients at every stage of the property sale process (preparation of the sale file, valuation of assets, marketing, selection of potential buyers, organization of viewings, and assistance with all necessary formalities leading to the sale).

It also represents clients in disputes that may arise during or after the sale of a property.

The Firm provides personalized support regarding tax matters related to real estate transactions.

The Firm has strong experience in civil liability law, particularly in notarial liability.

It intervenes both for plaintiffs and defendants in complex cases involving the liability of legal and financial professionals.

The Firm supports its clients in pre-litigation phases to seek transactional solutions, as well as throughout expert appraisal operations and all stages of judicial proceedings.

The Firm has developed substantial expertise in advisory and litigation matters related to art market law.

This expertise encompasses inheritance-related issues as well as complex disputes involving the provenance, recovery, and authenticity of artworks, and the management of intellectual property rights.

It also has expertise concerning the liability of art market professionals (experts, auctioneers, art dealers).

Drawing on recognized experience in criminal law, the Firm defends clients in all criminal matters linked to the inheritance cases it handles (undue influence, breach of trust, fraud, theft, concealment, etc.), whether representing the defense or civil parties.
